Camosun Bog Board Game

The Bog Adventure! By Jacky Chow and Kenneth Valdez How to play: Each player has a lego character as their object to use for the game and the players have to place their object on the entrance of the Bog, which is located outside the bog Taking  turns, roll the dice provided for the game. After you roll the dice,  you have to move your object forward by the number of dots shown on the dice. Landing on a patch of moss will make you jump to the next patch of moss on the board and landing on the Devil’s Hole(indicated in black) will make you drop down to the next Devil’s Hole. If your object lands on a question mark, another player must draw a card for you to answer the question written on the card, answering the question correctly will allow to stay in place but if your answer is wrong, there are instructions on the back of the card will tell you what to do. Our Community Outreach

On May 5, 2017, Kenneth and I decided to learn and give back to our community by attending Global Rewind IV at Science World. Upon arriving to the event, we received a warm welcome by volunteers who seemed about our age. After checking in, we continued through Science World and met many other students from different school all over Vancouver. Because there was some extra time before the event started, Kenneth and I explored the area and played games with fellow Gladstone students. At around 6:30pm, all the attendees were invited into a small theatre, where multiple volunteers reenacted a play about global warming and how we should limit as much waste as possible. They also played a series of videos that showcased others schools across Vancouver showing off their environment saving clubs, which I think is very interesting and I think Gladstone should also have a club that plans events to help out the environment. Camosun Bog Story

Once upon a time, two smart and brave Gladstone warriors, named Kenneth and Jacky, significantly changed Greater Vancouver forever. Growing up in the ancient land of Narnia, Kenneth and Jacky acquired sacred knowledge from their spiritual ancestors who have been warning us about the ice cold evil in a far away land called Vancouver.
